Short introduction of the Hydro Power Corporation Ltd.

For 10 years we have been working in the field of reconnection of small river power stations with a total capacity up to 10.000 kW in the new (former GDR) and old (former FRG) federal states of Germany.

The Hydropower Corporation Ltd. (german: Ingenieurgesellschaft für Wasserkraftanlagen Richter mbH) emerged from the prior "Expert office for water management, hydraulic engineering and Hydropower Plants" (german: "Sachverständigenbüro für Wasserwirtschaft, Wasserbau und Wasserkraftwerke").

We offer the complete range of engineering services in the field of hydropower constructions. We have the contact for technical support and we can consult foreign experts in very particular problems.

I started this work after my practical training at the Water Authority Kempten in 1990/91. After taking my university degree (civil engineer) I worked initially on the redeveloping and reconstructing of smaller projects. I drew up preliminary investigations and feasibility studies for a multitude of hydropower locations. At that time I was trading under the name of the experts office (german: „Sachverstaendigenbuero fuer Wasserwirtschaft, Wasserbau und Wasserkraftwerke”).

In 1992 the first permanent employee was engaged. By 1994/95 our permanent staff was completed due to the increasing volume and scale of assignments and kept by this number until today

In 1996 I founded the Hydropower Corporation Ltd. (german: Ingenieurgesellschaft für Wasserkraftanlagen Richter mbH), which works exclusively on planning, consulting and supervision of projects and construction sites.

The experts office also continues existing. I am public certified engineer in small Hydropower Stations, working on expert reports for trials, insurance coverage assessments and private customers.

After many assignments in the new federal states of Germany, from 1996 we started receiving assignments in the old federal states of Germany and later on also abroad. Currently (beside our German assignments) we have assignments in Switzerland, Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, China, Mongolia as well as in the former CIS States.

I stand with my team for technically Hydropower Stations activities. We are of the opinion that one must really specialize in such a narrow area as possible, to be enabled to solve the essential architectural and hydraulic engineering problems and to solve the ever occurring questions, for example in mechanical equipment, hydraulic, electrotechnical and legal matters. We stand for qualitative, reliable, on schedule engineering work and apply all our knowledge and expertise to reach this goal.
